A tough day at the office for the red men with a last minute reschedule of grounds due to what Mosman are saying “a deluge of precipitation”. However, Ryde International came up trumps (again) handling this deluge with ease and the day would go on for 3′s, Colts, 2′s and 1′s. It was a tough day with a few close results and tough calls going against us.

1st Grade: 60-31 Loss (not quite sure they scored 60)

2nd Grade: 31-19 Win

Colties: 27-17 Loss

3rd Grade: 18-15 Loss

With Origin on Wednesday and the guaranteed bye this weekend, most grades won’t have training this week, however talk to your coaches to confirm you aren’t training. Enjoy the weekend off!

Round 1 Drummoyne

Massive day tomorrow for the club. Round 1 kicks off at Drummoyne Oval. If you have not been named in a team please arrive at Drummoyne Oval at 9:25am, this goes for all new players who want to play this season but haven’t been to training.

Kick off times are:
5th Grade – 9:50am
4th Grade – 10:45am
3rd Grade – 11:40am
Colts – 12:45pm
2nd Grade – 2:00pm
1st Grade – 3:15pm

Trials Saturday 29th vs Hunters Hill

Saturday is our last hit out before we take on Drummoyne on the 5th April. It’s imperative that we have a good showing against HH as it will give us the momentum we need to start the season. Not to mention it makes the coaches job 4 million times easier to select teams for round 1. If you haven’t been to training still come down at 11:30 and you will be put in a team, you will be guaranteed at least 20 mins. Order for the day is as follows:

Trial Monday 24th vs Barker Old Boys

We take on Barker Old Boys on Monday night at Wakehurst Rugby Park. Colts will kick off at 6:30pm with Grade to follow in 20 minute periods. Make the effort to get there on time to help out the coaches. Loretta will be there from 6pm if you need strapping.
